Hey, anon! Strap in for this LONG. ASS. POST.

First, a long list of fics (some of these aren’t even properly titled, so sorry for the stupidity in advance – this is how I’ve got them noted down in my spreadsheet (yes, I use a spreadsheet)):

• Eligible – a multi-chap Bachelor AU. I’m currently… what, 5 chapters in with a fuck ton of later material written. I’ll bridge the gap eventually and start publishing it.
  
• Ye Olde Smut Fic – one-shot, going to actually be about a university admissions fair, but I promised the Squid Squad I’d call it this, so here we are
• Band AU – one shot, just came up with this the other day, literally nothing more to it at this point than a few paragraphs. Includes Ed Sheeran, @professor-riddikulus hates it which, of course, makes me just want to write in more Ed
• Wolfstar Fic – one shot, at this point titleless. University/Professor AU for my best friend’s birthday. Will hopefully make up for the fact that I’m about to write a bunch of Ed into that Band AU
• Long Trip – tumblr anon suggested this one a while ago and I decided to make it a sad fic because I’m a monster. Muggle AU, Lily’s a journalist who was sent to cover some war that I haven’t yet decided on
  
• Sad Minnie – anon requested this the other day – what was Minnie’s response when she found out about James and Lily? I spent the entire night thinking about when we meet her in Philosopher’s Stone, so I’m probably going to mock up a timeline and start this one
• Euphemia – because I wanted to write another Ed Sheeran fic. Sort of an inverted Nancy Mulligan?
• Too Fic Too Furious – obviously another Squid Squad title. @petalstofish @levins18 and I were talking about bad traffic. We thought it would be brilliant if we turned this very dumb conversation into an even dumber fic
• LA Hallucinations – multi-chap AU with just a prologue at this point. Based on the prompt from @ginevrafangirl29 (right??) where James and Lily are famoussss. They’re in Hollywood, there’s some fake dating, there’s some angst. What more could you ask for (except for this to be finished)?
• Minnie Scolding Jily – got this as an anon prompt a while back about Minnie catching Jily being ~inappropriate~ as adults and scolding them, but then @rambledore and I were talking about this the other day and we decided that it would be hilarious if James, Lily, and Harry all worked at Hogwarts together. So that’s what this is going to be
• Summer in the City – multi-chap YouTuber AU. Only half a prologue exists at this point. James and Sirius have a show that’s very much like Good Mythical Morning. Lily is a civilian, doesn’t understand this YouTube stuff AT ALL. Not quite the same universe at Laundry is Lit, but could be
• Canine Wars – because I’m determined to keep writing these stupid wars fics. James and Lily unite in (sixth? seventh?) year to try and get Wolfstar together
• Prefect Wars – so it continues. Who is the better prefect/Head? James, Lily, or Remus? Sirius is the judge, so he’s likely to be at least a bit biased.
• Cut to the Feeling – Another Carly Rae Jepsen inspired fic that nobody every asks for or cares about. I’ve been meaning to write this for a long, long time. I just love the feeling of that song, the like new love excitement about it, you know? It’s that feeling you get when you’re with someone new but you can tell that it’s going to be good. I want to write that, but I haven’t figured out how
• Photograph – I forgot to include this in my original count, so I guess I better update that. Ed Sheeran inspired, obviously. I was thinking about the photographs that Harry has in the album that Hagrid got him and I wanted to know the stories behind them (the ones we know to exist canonically and the ones that I imagine are there)

Second, a weekend overview (I can’t believe you guys are actually interested in my boring life – why is this a thing? I’m happy to share, but I’m boring???)

I usually wake up between 8-930 now that my kid is basically self-sufficient in the morning. It’s fucking glorious.

• We have a fairly loose structure on Saturday – 
• I usually drag the kid to the gym in the morning – he complains because he “HATES STAY AND PLAY” but then he colours me a picture and seems to forget that he hAtEs iT
• We walk to the library at some point (I scold my child because he never remembers how to walk through a roundabout without nearly dying) and we check out way too many books
• Saturday is also family movie night – I set our pizza dough out to rise (I use the recipe in The Yeast I Can Do, because you wanted to know) in the morning and then one of us (this week is my week and I cannot waittttt) picks a movie and we settle in
• We only have one thing that we actually HAVE to do on Sunday
• We have swim lessons mid-morning – kid goes to do that, I go die on the elliptical and write fic. I usually end up listening to Queen and nearly embarrassing myself in front of an entire gym full of people
• Sunday is also what I call “Sunday Funday” – that means we clean the entire house
• My kid hates this
• I, predictably, do not care
• We also try to do whatever we need to to get ready for the week ahead – pack lunches, get to bed early, etc etc

I try not to schedule too much on the weekend because we’re both so busy during the week. I like to give him time to sit in his room and watch YouTube kids (or record his own YouTube videos which DEAR GOD I can’t believe I let him do). I play Sims and vege out, I write fic, the kid and I get into magical duels/have dance parties…

The week is long and stressful. We’d literally go insane if we didn’t seriously chill on the weekend.
